What a night! After all the efforts taken to buy the clothings and dye my hair(temporarily), its finally here, the long-awaited prom!

It was surely exciting, with all these hardly recognizable faces, and super hyped up Andersonians.

There were sentimental moments too, when they screened videos of the past school life, and when mr ivin chan sang his own composed song. The best video was the creative "Jai ho" dance video made by our school staff. It totally rocked and brought the hyped atmosphere to a whole new level!

The host was awesome too, bringing never ending laughter to the scene, while allowing us to realise how great the years in secondary school were. The best takeaways from this whole event were the photos taken though.

All in all, prom was super duper awesome :D

But... the night after prom in the hotel was.... DEVASTATING.

imagine 8 guys in a hotel room. What can possibly happen :O

Well nothing much, except massive wrestling, taupoks, shooting of ryo's pack of cards, destruction of furnitures, and much more. haha, all these violence was probably due to the presence of the violent kid, jeff koh. it was hard to take daili down though. Efforts to pin him down for a taupok resulted in us being the victims instead.

However, such short spurts of fun were not sufficient to satisfy our active selves

Which is how we decided to go for a walk with the other group of girls & their boyfriends along the singapore river. Spent quite alot of time dragging ourselves around the area aimlessly an running across roads or through dark secluded pavements.

the product of such activities was a bunch of sweaty idiots, who settled down in the hotel once again, only this time, the girls were in the room too. They suggested that we needed room service for such a mess, but who cares man! the messier, the merrier!

Heh, in conclusion, it was all fun and excitement. However, as bryan said it, there were disappointments too, especially for many males. Didnt really understand what he meant. Probably something about relationships? =/

Oh well, Im definite these great moments would be imprinted deep within each of us, as we move on through life. Even as we are separated after many years, our strong linkages would still bring us together.

haha, Im also satisfied, knowing that I've already forged an adamantine chain of friendships among many, though more could have been done within this borrowed time.

Last but not least, Im grateful. Grateful for the warmth radiated from great peers (you know who you are :D), appreciative for the alacrity in accepting me as a member of the class, and thankful for providing me with a platform to stand up once again (literally and emotionally), and gratified to have these wonderful memories embedded within me.

Went for my very first acupuncture session, and its totally shocking, literally!
I could feel electrical charges jolting down the veins whenever the physician jabbed the needles into various areas of my leg.
Pretty cool, i'd say, its like those kungfu movies, except that i didnt become super ultra mega strong after the acupuncture.

Started off teacher's day by having human geog paper. Somehow, I managed to complete the paper despite the hustle from the rampaging witch. My hands were trembling, and it felt as though it was frozen inside out. Insane writing and scribbling of words during geog tests are not for the weak-fingered, i guess.
Commercial Break: gonna DotA with Steven and Yi long. Brb to blog later.

Continued: Concert was pretty short, with random jeerings every now and then. Lol, but the main event throughout the performance was probably when jerald clouted jiahui with the balloon. Holy shit, her reaction was so damn hilarious, it made imran and me chuckle for quite awhile.

The Concert ended with amassment of students dispersing all over the hall, and me meeting Steve and co. I felt sentimental, meeting ex-classmates and peers who had moved on in life, especially so when taking class photos for perhaps the last time. Of course, there were also bliss amongst these mixed emotions. Bliss from meeting you after so long. Bliss from chatting the whole afternoon about the rest of our lives, though we knew we were on an entirely different track. Despite all these, I was still contented, thanks.

The outburst of light rays radiated from behind the clouds were gorgeous, and would've been 9000 times better if viewed from the human eye.
This explosion of light was where it all began, where plants gathered their energy, following the conversion of it from one form to another, in the endless cycle of life and death. It is this light that eradicated the darkest fears from our souls, and provide warmth for the cold.
This vast spread of light onto Earth was what started human's thirst for energy, for knowledge, and for invention of machines to harness it. This is the light that showed our civilisation that gold is shiny, that diamond refracts light so brilliantly, and it is this light, that painted this world of ours, and Earth could not be prettier as without it.
All in all, I thank God for this creation of light. The light that showered me with happiness, and the light that provided the shine on smiles. *shink shink

Hah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah, I've been yearning for too many things lately.

I miss my clique, I miss running, I miss the afternoon talk-cock sessions, I miss how I looked before I took these medicines, I miss, i miss.

Theres just too many changes that I have to submit to, with the main nuisance being the recent development of stutterings whenever im talking with these new peers. Somehow, someway, I wanna talk, wanna talk, but i just can-ant- speak with usual fluency. This aint supposed to be so difficult, but I just don't feel alright anymore, not when Im always toungue tuh-ied. Yea why the heck am i shy when interacting with girls? THIS AINT THE ALVIN I KNOW DOOD.

Hopefully, I'd be able to invent this desired time-travelling machine, turning myself back to whom I once was, being able to speak naturally regardless of whom im talking to.

I would want to turn back time, but at the same time, I would also want to retain my relations with these new buddies I've met in recent months. Yea, im defying the alchemical law, gaining something without first sacrificing. Too bad if i am. Friends are priceless.

Time to blast myself back to the reality of life. Went library to study till 8pm once again. Had to go back to classroom to put back my textbooks, since im blardy lazy to bring them back. Because of this, i had to walk through the dark and fearsome corridors of the school and face the dreadful blackness of my classroom. Rofl, i dont really believe in the paranormal, so im not going to give a damn about the ongoing rumours about class 4/3's ghosts/unnatural beings. I've been in this class for nearly 2 years man! wats the big deal xD.

and hmm, Mugging in library still aint getting to the desired effectiveness, so Im gonna try out classroom-mugging for efficiency tomorrow.

Indeed, studying in school till the late hours of the evening is effective to a certain extent.

Of course, it might have been 50% more efficient without those erratic disturbances. Except that i wouldnt mind, talking cock and mugging kinda balances and eliminates the stress, if there is any.

Furthermore, the pros of studying in the library outweighs the cons. Theres free aircon, free milo/green tea, free waffles (all sponsored by mrs koh), free friends (xD fine friends are priceless), coaching from teachers such as mdm wong, and most importantly, I'd be able to get away from the distractions and hustle at home.

After today, I also acknowledged that Anderson Secondary School's teachers are really dedicated to assist us in overcoming this hurdle. Oh wait, i forgot to mention our diligent Principal and V.P. too, devoting their precious time to visit us and boosting our motivation slightly (they served the purpose of getting us back onto the tracks after we got distracted by games, friends, drawings etc.)

Hopefully, this blog wouldnt be read by many of the graduating students after all that praises about how great the library is, or else its gonna be packed with students =O

Hurh, with each passing day, i realised how invaluable our teachers and peers are, and the importance in cherishing the remaining 71 days in school. So, all my beloved friends who are reading this, do know that i treasure the remaining time with you! (holy shit thats damn mushy)

Tribute to Mr Zhuge Liang

I'll just type out a tribute for my favourite historic figure, Zhuge Liang:

Zhuge Liang (181–234) was Chancellor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period of China. He is often recognised as the greatest and most accomplished strategist of his era.

Often depicted wearing a robe and holding a fan made of crane feathers, Zhuge was not only an important military strategist and statesman; he was also an accomplished scholar and inventor. His reputation as an intelligent and learned person grew even while he was living in relative seclusion, gaining him the nickname "Fúlóng" (伏龍, alternatively translated as "Hidden Dragon").

Yes, this is the dude that I look up to, for his intelligence was unprecedented at his era, and was unparallelled up to now. However that was not the main reason why he admired him. Zhuge Liang was always composed, and due to this, he was able to turn the tide in wars and win a fairly facile battle. There were also numerous ingenious inventions innovated by him too, one of them being the Zhuge Crossbow, a modified version of the crossbow. It was made semi-automatic, thus being able to fire multiple crossbow arrows rapidly and with lethal accuracy.

Of course, he was infamous not only because of this mere invention of the crossbow, but his tactical use of the landscape, and ability to play tricks in his enemies' minds that did so. My favourite strategy of his is the Empty Fort Strategy, which involves the use of reverse psychology to deceive an enemy that an empty fort is filled with ambushes and traps, thus intimidating the perpetrator into retreat.

All in all, the wisdom of this one man could never be unfolded in a short blogpost. Hopefully, the legacy of this great historian would be preserved for the future generations, bestowing upon them a great inspiration.

Hah, and this slacker here hasnt revised for nuts.
And many fellow comrades fighting this imminent war had already equipped themselves with a sword or two. Some are being torn apart inside out due to stress, while some had already been taken down by this invisible enemy. Nonetheless, there are always exceptions, *coughs me, that have not even been helmed with the most basic set of battle armor. Its all about the strategies one take, and hopefully, this attack route i've mapped out would lead me to the final victory.

Physics spa skill 3 in exactly 12 hours' time. Yawns, and im still awake at such a late time in the night, flipping through countless pages of the textbook and scribbling non-stop on stacks of paper. Yes, i've been doing latenight muggings for about a week now. Yet, i do not fully comprehend every single topic there is to chemistry (FUCK).
Through the silence of the night, only the continuous scribbling on paper echoed...
Just then, I realised... theres only 90++ days left to this final battle, but im not fully equipped with my weapons and defenses against this fearsome enemy.
More importantly, whats the point of liking someone, if shes gonna defeat this enemy so easily, emerged victorious in a top JC, while you survive as an injured comrade, only to end up in pathetic barracks and shiz. Work hard dude, work harder than her.
For it is the flame from charmander that rekindled this burning motivation.
Can I perform just as well? I guess it all depends on these 3 months that's left.

Two days of absence from school, and i cant stand being cooped up at home already.
Just then, a voice whispered through my mind, yanking me out of my fascination with the Republic of South Korean's youth soccer team. The surrounding walls seemed to amplify this sound, and unknowingly it grew louder and louder.

Oh no, syntoms of an addict! Attempts to resist the urge were overwhelmed, and efforts to study were futile. Chemical reactions just do not register in my head anymore, and maths formulas seemed to have diffused into the surrounding air.
"I shall not give in!" the angelic half of the brain debated.
Aha! I shall post some reviews on my fav DotA heroes, just to satisfy the desires of this half of the Demonic/addicted brain.

First up, top 3 favourite Heroes!
Fav Str Heroes:

1)ChaosKnight!
I was quite shocked that i have never heard nessaj's name on the forums or on the strategy section! I mean seriously, this hero is arguably the best hero in the game! Yes thats a bold statement, but you gotta take my word for it. This hero may seem all useless and shit, with most of his skills being dependent on luck. However, do note that chaos bolt, at the unluckiest of times, would still be able to disable a hero for a minimum of 2 seconds! And yes, the other luck dependent skill that was often debated to be useless would be CK's critical. 11% chance? yea, but this 11% Chance allows you to play mindgames with your enemies, reducing a hero with full hp down to a devastated piece of pixel. Blink strike itself is uber versatile too, being both an offensive and a defensive skill. the ultimate, phantasm, is obviously what makes Nessaj earn his name as the ChaosKnight. 4x 3times critical? 12 times the damage! What else can you ask for?

2)Naix
Imba carry of all times! theres nothing much to say for this hero, except that he only needs a few items to own: Armlet and a desolator

3)TideHunter
Good initiator i'd say. With this hero around, you can turn a losing game around with just one excellent ultimate.

Fav Agil Heroes:
I pretty much like all kinds of agil heroes xD

Fav Int Heroes:

1)Invoker~
The essence of a storm. The heart of a blizzard. The soul of a phoenix. This hero is my favourite in DotA! And in my opinion(note: MY OPINION), Invoker is the most versatile hero of all times! It has a giant nuke, a Mega AoE Disable, a low cooldown uber AoE slow, an invis skill, a mana draining skill, supportive skills, and a ubermegaawesomewtfggbbq global sunstrike. anyone can buy anything, do anything, add anything for this hero man! And yea, my favourite part about him is that I can try almost anything one game after another, and still not get bored about him. And hey, did i forget to mention that invoker can be a carry as well? With his mega awesome damage, and his support skill, he might as well be a dps hero. Not only being a dps, Invoker himself can disable an enemy dps hero! Coldsnap practically stops DPS heroes from dealing massive damage quickly! Theres just so much more to say about this hero, and i doubt a day's time would be sufficient to cover on his abilities... so there you go, my fav hero.

2)Silencer
Good attack animation, and an awesome dps late game, dealing pure damage! And i love his last word too. It always hinder heroes that needed to chain their skills together, e.g. pudge, lina, Stormspirit.
and this hero just cant do without its ultimate! Global silence can stop every single skill, especially initiates! Imagine a tidehunter or magnataur that blinked in, just to get silenced! it'd get ripped to pieces by the team, and in no time at all, the enemies would have lost an important initiator role, and the situation would have became a 4v5.

3)Crystal Maiden
This heroine is not only gorgeous, every single one of its skills is just... TOO DARN IMBA.

Hello blog! Yessa.. Tomorrow is Anderson's yearly Speechday!!!
Finally get to see all the friends that are missed. Heh, and of course, the fact that schl's gonna end at 9.40am is a privilege too!
To add on to that, 4/3 only has PE and MTL for that first two hours!

Today's lessons weren't bad either. Had Mr Kamal take over the CME lessons at 8am with his SS lesson, and he showed us this earthshaking video of Britain's got talent. This single video achieved an astounding 6 million ++ views in just 3 days. By the time mr kamal showed us the video, there were already 8 million over views, and about 50000 ratings. We were showed the video again at 12.10's SS lesson, whereby we joined classes with Sec 5/2. This time, the number of views had escalated to 10 million! Simply put, this 47 year old woman with the dynamic voice is so damn good at singing! She may not look gorgeous, nor is she young, but she totally wowed the judges, and beat the other competitors upside down, inside out with the song "I dreamed a dream"
This proved that we should not judge a book by its cover, as an ugly book might have better contents than a better looking one.

Hello, Im Lui Jia En Alvin from class 4/3.
My dreams are to travel to around the world and to pursue knowledge.

I realised how important and powerful knowledge can be while i was admitted to the hospital. Don't ask me how this realisation came about though. =/
And i admire Zhuge Liang as an accomplished strategist of his era, for his intelligence is unparalleled.

It is Mr Kamal's intriguing lessons, and partly, Zhuge Liang that gave me the interest in Social studies that i did not have in the past years. And i am certain that i can finally stop flunking SS tests this year. Yes, my resolve is adamant.
If there's a wall, I'll break it down! If there's no path, I'll make one with these hands! Rawr!

However, I am a literature-elective student. Didn't know why i chose literature-elective as a subject when I had so much more interest in history though. In fact, i read up history books & websites more than my literature text. Oh well, life is about the choices one makes, and the word 'regret' is definitely not in my dictionary.

Back from 3D2N of CyberCamp!!

Monday:
I cabbed to school at 2pm, left my baggage in CyberLab and went to AMK Hub to meet Jordan, Asraf, JianYu, Danny, TingZhi, Minshan & Meifeng.
We chatted for a moment, and went to ChengSan CC to play bball.
Jordan betted 9 bucks that i couldnt throw in from the Side of the 3 point line, but i did!
I didnt get the 9 bucks though =(
When weihao came, i had to go back to school for cybercamp. I was given a group of 4 members: Shiru, Claudia, Edmund & Dinesh. Played some lame ice-breaking game, and had dinner afterwards. It was followed by the best part of the camp, the nightwalk!
The seniors were given the role of the nightwalk ICs, aka the scarers.
We then briefed the juniors on the nightwalk, and i told them some ghostly legends of our school.
Most of the story were partly true, except the soccerteam incident made up by Hilmi.
Jane & I then took the initiative to scare at 4/3! Or was it me who took the initiative? Haha, heck care, since i've been in 4/3 for 2 years, and i shouldn't have any problems staying in the class for a long duration at night.
We started off chatting about the teachers, and some random things. I asked Jane if she wanted to play Chess, but she told me to play against myself =.=
Then i asked her if she wanted to play pokercards, but she said sth about bad luck i think.
We then saw a figure in uniform along the corridor outside, and it disappeared in a moment. We were also pretty sure no one wore uniform for the nightwalk. Uh, so tt figure was probably someone from the other cca?
Arvind called, and we had to off the lights. Jane thought of hiding at the back of the class and kicking the tables in an attempt to scare the night-walkers. The first pair who came was Indira & someone (cant rmb), and they totally cant see us in the class at all!! They were so scared that i could even hear their voice trembling! Wahaha...
Pairs came after pairs, and we kept changing spots to scare people.
There was a pair of juniors who didnt get scared at first, and they told Jane, "aiyo, so boring, not scary one."
I slipped out of the classroom and hid behind another wall, and scared the shit out of them the moment they walked past! Hahaha, I should've recorded their reactions!
WingSang came sometime near 12am. 12 am was the last pair, and Arvind didnt tell me.
We waited and waited, but no one came. We talked till about 12.30am, and then we realised that there were no pairs going for nightwalk alr. SCREW YOU ARVIND!
oh well, it was fun talking in the class and watching the candle flames go out.
It was sleeping time. Arvind didnt bring his sleeping bag, and Hilmi and I had to share ours with him. SCREW YOU AGAIN. lol jkjk.

Tuesday:
The next day started off with scrumptous Roti-Pratas and Chicken curry made by Mr Nathan.
It was then followed by the traditional Cybertrail! SernYi and ZhangMing were already waiting for me outside school gate then. (heh, they were uber good helpers!!!!)
Our first stop was at GoodSpeed Cybercafe, whereby I took the picture of the word [Cyber].
After that, we went to the salon just below GSC to ask for the 3 hair of different colours.
We then rushed to AMK hub's Triumph shop, and zhangming and claudia went in to ask for the paperbag. However, tt oldhag at the counter didnt wanna give us the paperbag, unless we buy at least one lingerie. =.=
Moreover, passerbys were looking at us, wondering what a group of students were doing in that shop.
We had no choice but to abandon this task. Zhangming & Sernyi then went to oldchangkee to take the paperbag, while the rest of us sped to popular to get icecream sticks & the registration form. We also 'met' Jane's group here, and shared the ice cream sticks. Lol i pitied Jane as an IC.
Her group was totally lazy about everything. They didnt even show a glimpse of enthusiasm.
They were so slow that Taupok was considered 2nd fastest in the group!!!
Wat the hell la. Our merged group MRT-ed to Changi Airport, and took some pictures there.
We even sang the school song IN Macdonald's! Then we settled for lunch there too. Taupok and Edmund were talking about perverted topics, jane & shiru were sitting together, while the sec1s and 2s were playing PSPs. I was sitting with Zhangming and sernyi, and there was obviously no space at all at the table. But then, Zhangming had to be a Mr Niceguy and asked the lonely Claudia to sit with us. [i bet he was more of wanting to flirt]
We wolfed the food down our throats and went to the viewing hall in Terminal 3. I was awed by the beautiful sights of the aeroplanes, but we could not afford to waste time there.
Furthermore, we had to go to vivocity too. On our way there, Zhangming pangseh-ed me to meet his jc friends.
At vivocity, we took pictures of the tram, and I had to buy a tram ticket for the task too. No one wanted to spare me a tram ticket, in fear that i might use it to travel to sentosa for free. DO I LOOK LIKE THE TYPE WHO WOULD BOTHER SAVING 3 BUCKS IF I WANTED TO GO TO SENTOSA? RWAR!
By then, I could feel countless needless stabbing into my legs. Excruciating pain seeped through the blood veins uncontrollably. Upon reaching amk, Sernyi went home, and the merged group kinda splitted. Jane's group kinda ran off, leaving her behind. Luckily, i had friends who didn't leave me behind, namely Edmund, Jane, Claudia, Shiru & Dinesh. Thanks guys =)
We reached school and Arvind calculated the final scores. It is then that i realised i did not share the colored hair with the other group although i promised to! IM REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY!!!!!!

I was totally exhausted after the cybertrail. Luckily i was refreshed by the luscious BBQ food.
The ex-excos (seniors of mine) came back too. We played Daidi, and had our own seniors' version of nightwalk, while the juniors went to comlab to play CS. We (seniors) then played truth or truth, and i was forced to answer a question that i had never wanted to tell anyone about. Im sorry to everyone, but i lied to you guys. I had no choice. It was so as not to spoil others' relationships.

Wednesday:
Played Captain's ball. I didnt want to run at first, as i wasn't in the condition to do any sports.
However, after seeing how badly my team was losing, i decided to join in. We turned the game around and pwnt them all! rofl. It was totally exhilarating to play so hard, after 6 months of not exercising at all.
It was then prize presentation. Arvind's group was 2nd, and mine was... FIRST!
Yessa!!!!!!!!!!! 50 dollars worth of popular vouchers! I'd like to thank my mum, my dad, supporters, and ... OOPS.
Seriously, I'd like to thank Jane's group, my group members, zhangming and sernyi!!, and most importantly, those who did not leave me behind when i was in extreme pain. I'd really treat you guys to something this time! I swear!! Come claim it from me! =)

We then took some CCA photos, and Mr Nathan sent Arvind, Hilmi, Ryo and I to collect 50 packets of Bryani from some stall near Mayflower Sec. He told us to take 265 all the way, and so we did. To our horror, the last stop of 265 was NYP. The bus driver told us to get off, and we were totally shocked. Hilmi then gave the idea to buy the 50 packets of Bryani from some other stall near AMK central. We then considered our choices. Either get very lost, and make everyone wait even longer for their lunch, or go to another stall and get 50packets of bryani, go back to school, and everyone will fill their stomach. We took the 2nd choice, and set off on a freaking long journey to the stall. At that point in time, my leg felt as though there were flames surging through them. We then took a bus, hoping to lessen the pain.
We then arrived at the stall, and had to wait 2 hours ++ for the 50 packets of bryani to be cooked. We cabbed back to school and were 1 hour off schedule. Ncc was having their war games then. On the way to the toilet, i got bombed by Jiachin & Zaff's waterbomb. Rwar.
The camp ended shortly after that, with alot of things reported missing, for example, 32 bucks & a notebook(laptop).

All in all, the Cybercamp was damn fun and i enjoyed the time spent.
Im sorry if im not so enthu this year though...

Finally went back to school after being sick for 2 days!
hahaha, all the lessons were pretty slack.
Had physics test after schl. Pretty easy, except for tt latent heat/ heat capacity of lemonade calculation question.
Then slacked around for awhile in class. Jordan, tingzhi and company came, and talked awhile. They left for their st. john's stuff after tt.
NurdBoi, Serene & Courts came shortly after tt.
Went to J8 to buy 90 bucks worth of tickets for slumdog millionaire.
Waited for the rest of our gang, then shopped around for HappiBoi's rugby shoes.
Haha, HE TAKES DAMN LONG JUST TO FIND ONE PAIR OF RUGBY SHOES.
We then went to eat at the foodcourt, and FINALLY watch the movie.
Heh, the cinema was filled with _______. They support the movie, tts why!
hahaha. At start, i thought the movie would suck because it'd be 90% tamil.
However, its pretty ok as there are subtitles.

Overall, the movie is action packed, and every scene is thrilling. No loopholes are found in the plot, and the development of the characters are pretty good. Especially for that main character's brother(forgot their names). He was seen as a bully sometimes, but he had a good heart deep inside him. However, because of his money-mindedness, he was unable to really fulfil the good deeds. In most of the scenes, he would save someone, then betray that person, and then help that person again.
The development of the main character's feelings throughout the movie was clear too. In my opinion, there is no "Most intense part of the movie", as every plot contains an exciting twist, and it'd lead to another chain of events.
All in all, this movie is excellent!

After many days of praying to God for decisions, talking to parents and teachers,
I've finally decided.
I would be taking The GCE O Levels next year instead,
as i am not mentally nor physically prepared.
Just when i had started studying, and putting efforts into my work,
This disease of some sort had to come.
I do not blame anyone though, not even God.
This might be what He wants me to do after all.
I may have to waste one year of my life, but hey, there may be better things coming along!
The only regret I have of choosing to take the O levels next year is to leave my Friends.
Personally, i knew that if i were to take o levels next year, i would be in a totally different class, among totally different classmates, of whom i may not understand due to the little difference in age.
I would also miss all my friends, those who will be graduating this year. Of course, i wish them a successful road ahead, and hope that they would do well in their o levels in the upcoming 60 plus days.
This heavy decision was made only today, and I did not have a chance to bid a proper goodbye to all of my good friends and buddies, and hence, it is only through blogging that i can express a sincere goodbye.

Finally discharged from TTSH.
And its my first time being admitted to hospitals too.
Hahaha, it isn't a bad stay anyway.
Hmm I did not have any idea how i ended up there though.
Only knew that i was feeling warm all over and the thermometer read 39.2 degrees celcius, and then i was dizzy. Kinda fainted and woke up in Emergency aka. A&E Department.
While laying on the "bed" (the thing they push people around in), I saw alot other people, who had serious injuries. There were some china man and banglas who were bleeding all over, and some even had their inner flesh exposed. It was 3 am then.
Then after waiting for what seemed like an eternity, someone recorded my blood pressure sugar level, and then pushed me to one of the operation rooms, where the doctor removed the stitches on my wound. Therefore, i inferred that it was most probably bacteria infection that caused me to end up in the hospital.

The removal of the stitches were... Super Ultra mega pain though, and some yellowish substance could be seen in the wound too. I remembered shouting and biting my lips accidentally, and after a while i got used to the pain.
After the removal of stitches, I was further transferred to the waiting ward beside the operation room. This area was so cold that i needed to wear a jacket, yet trembling at the same time.
There were quite alot of elderlies in this ward, and it was pitiful seeing how these old people suffered from all those diseases. I was reminded of my grandparents when they were admitted in the hospital too.

Then a nurse came and got me onto a wheelchair, and she wheeled me out of the ward, and took a very big lift. In the lift, we chatted for a while, and i got to know her name as Miss Miao Xing.
We reached the 11th level and it was kinda spooky, as the corridors were dark and chilly.
She then realised we had went the wrong way, and rushed through the cold and hard corridors to Ward 11A. We then bid goodbye and I got onto my Bed, and i had a bed that was nearest to the window! hahaha. The skyscrapers were an awesome sight from my bed, and i could not resist taking a few photos using my handphone.

I easily fell asleep soon after, but was woke up every few hours by nurses to take my blood pressure and sugar level. They also injected some strange looking mechanism on my left hand, and then injected some antibiotics into it. As the doctor emptied the antibiotics from the syringe into my veins, i could feel a sharp pain, then it was as if a hot substance was flowing through the veins in my whole body. I was feeling numb, and yet pain at the same time.
The next day, the dripped the antibiotics again, and this time, it was worse than previously.
There was more pain, and the burning sensation is sick.
Im too tired to continue, and there's just too much to type...

Haha, constructed an idea on a sure win decktype!
Here goes:
This deck is all around the standard and infamous power of Dark Armed Dragon.
Dark Armed, nicknamed DaD, has used many interesting combos and tech cards in the past and seeing how it provails. Most players will probably call this format The Dark Armed Dragon Format, due to it's popularity.

The aim of the deck is to get 3 Dark attribute monsters into the graveyard to summon Dark Armed Dragon from your hand. No more, no less, Exactly 3. To complete this goal, the deck uses Graveyard dumping cards such as Armageddon Knight and Foolish Burial. DaD also has a game-breaking ability, "by removing 1 Dark in your graveyard, destroy any card on the field." This is also where things such as D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation and Return from the Different Dimension come in. They return the removed monsters, which are usually big hitters, back to the field for damage, and even potentially game. These monsters are things such as Darklord Zerato, Dark Magician of Chaos and Jinzo.

DaD decks also rely on Draw Power, and can gain this from the Destiny Hero family. It abuses their key spell card, Destiny Draw, for drawing, alongside 3 copies of Trade-In and 2 copies of the recently Semi-Restricted Allure of Darkness. With two cards drawn per card, and discarding to fill up the DaD food, then it packs quite a punch. Or, if you're looking for originality, you can always try Broken Bamboo Sword and Golden Bamboo Sword instead. It's not as good, but i suppose if you're on a low budget it'll have to do.

It all sounds amazing right...? But, there IS one major flaw in this deck. It is too expensive to construct!
Market prices for DaD are at $60 now, and 3 of them would make it $180. 3 D-draw and 2 allures bring the price up to $240. CCV further increases the price up to $270. Last but not least, Gold Sarchophagus, DMoC, Jinzo, Darklord Zerato, Plasma, malicious and some other cards all bring the final price up to a total of $400++.
Wow, so much money for a Powerful deck. Is it worth it at all?
Anyone who is interested in spending money on this deck can contact me and i will give you the full list of cards needed. Only Serious people, as i do not want anyone to cookie-cutter this deck and make it a commodity, and lead to boredom in the cardgame world.

Wow, long time since i last cared about blogging, since i had been busy catching up with others academically and physically. Had been busy self-learning classical guitar too, in hope that i can play some musical instrument that does not require powerpoints, wires and speakers to play.

back from the yu-gi-oh tournament. Won through swarming, and i didnt even have monster reborn in the deck! hahahaha, quite a suprise to lots of participants though. No one expected a dragon deck to win at this fast paced generation of yu-gi-oh. haha well, i guess i was really lucky.
Final match 1st round:
up against yu wei's machine deck, which he named the Cyber Revolution.
My starting hand consists of a Cyber Dragon, armed dragon level 5, mystical space typhoon, future fusion and divine wrath. drew a dragon's mirror, which translates as a win for me. smashed his cyclone with my MST, and activated future fusion, dumping 5 dragons into the graveyard. i then special summoned cyber dragon and sacrificed it to summon armed dragon level 5, which smashed his cyber phoenix. armed dragon lvl 7 was then special summoned by its effect at my end phase. he activated heavy storm, destroying my future fusion. he set a monster card and ended. i drew noble man of cross out and removed his faced down card. i activated dragon's mirror and special summoned Five God Dragon by removing the five dragons in my grave yard from play. i attacked with both armed dragon n five god dragon, and he is left with 200 life points. next turn, he drew a vortex and destroyed my armed dragon and FGD after special summoning his cyber dragon. he then summoned proto cyber dragon and attacked my life points. i drew cease fire and won after activating it during his nxt turn, which burned 1000 of his remaining 200 life points.

final match 2nd round:
nothing much to be said, i got owned within a few turns by his OTK combo.

final match 3rd round:
this time, his hand was really bad, while mine was good, with a Blue Eyes white night dragon and a FGD on a field, his life point decreased to zero in no time.

The prize of the overall tournament was a white horned dragon, the card i wanted.
my deck is still lacking certain cards though, like torrential tribute, red eyes darkness metal dragon and some support card.
today could be counted as a lucky day, since the monarch deck players werent free to take part in the tourney.

Today is yet another fun day.
The best lesson we had was Maths Lesson.

And yea, before the buffet, i was asked to give a speech!
I was totally dumbfounded then, as i did not prepare anyth.
So i simply went there and talked bout anyth tt came to my brain, but i assure all juniors that everyth i said is true!
Actually, i had more to say, but i didnt know how to put them in words at that point in time and that i did not want to further delay the buffet.
The PhotoFrame you guys DIY-ed was great too. In fact, its better than those sold outside!

Finally, I'd like to emphasize that there are no such thing as a single significant figure or person in a CCA. In My view, everyone is of equal importance, and they are all pillars of Cybernetics. There are no such thing as a President playing a more important role in the CCA. Without members, What are the Excos? Without the Excos, what are the members? Both can't do without the other, and therefore everyone has their own ideal job or role. There should be no weighing or measure of respect.
Sigh, im gonna miss all of these fun-loving juniors!

because i did exactly what i swore to the CCA when i just became the president - to achieve 2 awards for the cca.
And yes, we got exactly two awards!
Hahaha... Cybernetics Club may seem like a nerd CCA from the name,
but in fact, i find that its engaging, especially when there are lots of true friends in the CCA.
There are also a wide variety of Juniors, ranging from the Qian Bian ones to the cute ones.
In the one year of being the president of this CCA, i got to know more Juniors,
got to learn how to be responsible at times (although i still kinda fail at this aspect), got to lead a "battalion" of CCA members to competition, and even get to spread the advice that "winning isnt everyth, Happiness is!"
I'd like to type out and thank these people in the CCA, in hope that i will never forget their greatness.
The seniors:

JunJie: Thanks for Strategic plannings on the construction of sumobot, and being a president that inspires people.

Li Ting: For choosing me to be in your group for NJRC and winning the champion for Sprint bot.

Yi Ren: For teaching me designing skills on Photoshop, algorithms for Micromouse, Dota skills and strategys and so many things.

Yu Sheng + Yu Siang: For being the very first Twin i've seen in this world, being a encouraging president, teaching of Micromouse.

Its Good Friday today.
I went to chuch today early in the morning.
It was an eventful day, as i attended the service in the older cathedral.
This is one of the few times i get to enter the old cathedral, as i've been attending the new sanctuary for services after sunday schl instead. And the old cathedral service is mostly attended by my parents.

I shall summarise the meaning of good friday.
It is basically the Friday before Easter, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus. Protestant churches also hold special services on Good Friday. The services include readings and prayers commemorating Christ's sufferings on the cross.
Since im from a protestant church, i only know that catholics fast on this very day.

These are the seven sentences uttered before his death on the Cross.
1)“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Lk 23:34a)
we too live in a world full of injustice . Can we “have the mind of Jesus” and
humble ourselves to forgive those who treat us despicably?

2) "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." (Lk 23:43)
This was what Jesus said to the Bandit who believes that Jesus was not in the
wrong. Jesus forgave that bandit for whatever sins he did, and accepted him into
the gate of heaven. This clearly shows that Jesus never refuses a repentant
sinner, even at the very last minute or no matter how terrible they are.
3)“Woman, behold thy son … Behold thy mother” (Jn 19:26b-27a)

4) "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matt 27:46b)
This word or sentence that Jesus uttered is often described as “The Cry of
Dereliction”. Our Lord, who knew all things, understood what it meant to be cast
aside by His Heavenly Father. God the Father loved His Son with an everlasting
love. Yet for our sakes He was willing to abandon for that moment His only-
begotten Son.

5)“I thirst” (Jn 19:28)
This clearly shows that Jesus at that point in time was a human, though he was
spiritually god. He could feel the pain and suffering.

6)“It is finished” (Jn 19:30b)
It is important to finish what God give us to do. Some of us start things but
seem never able to finish them. After drinking the sour wine, Jesus said this,
and gave up his spirit.

7)"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" (Lk 23:46b)
This is a tender word as our dying Lord released Himself to the care of His
Father. We too can one day release ourselves to God when we breathe our last on
this side of Heaven. Six hours of unremitting pain on the Cross was more than
anyone could endure. Thirst, Difficulty in breathing as the weight of the body on
the lungs and rib cage would have caused trauma on the victim. Jesus’ sentences
got shorter and shorter. Then, as it were, he mustered all his strength and
uttered a longer sentence with a loud voice. For those who have attended to the
dying who hardly spoke a word near the end, it is amazing and testifies to the
tenacity of Jesus’ spirit that He actually spoke seven sentences as his last
words as He hung on the Cross...

Back From CyberCamp!

Day 1:
Met Yi Long at Yishun Mrt station and took cab to school as im late.
then briefed the camp ICs on what to do.
My team consists of Pooven, Jane, Wing sang, Yong liang and bernie, with Jane being the leader.
I gathered by group, Team 1!, and gave them the clues.
To my amazement, they solved it super easily, except the esplanade one.
then we set off on our journey around Singapore!
our first stop was at Yishun Park.
The task was to stay inside the super high tech and super smelly toilet for 5 minutes.
They couldn't endure the third toilet's smell, so i swapped them to the first one, which had bigger space but same intesity of smell.
after five minutes was up, team 1 trapped me inside the toilet! SMELLY YOU KNOW
After Yishun Park, We 969ed to Tampines. I met Rayner there out of suprise! The task was to go to toys'rus to find a toy with the brand "imaginarium".
Bernie was fast in spotting it, while Jane and Wing Sang were toying with the Spongebob soft toy.
We then went to Macs to lunch, where I pangseh-ed Rayner due to the rush for time.
After Tampines, we went to Bugis to search for NorthBridge Centre, with the task of finding the number of storeys it has.
The fourth station we went to is City Hall, where the task in hand is to take the picture of the UFO (Supreme Court). We went to Esplanade the fifth station (LIKE REAL) and they did the task of composing the song for singapore and singing it out.
The sixth station would be Vivocity, Where we took photos with the Black Dude doing Chin ups.
We then MRTed to Outram park, and changed lines to take the train to Chinese Garden.
We Climbed the Pagoda and took pictures as proof and for fun.
We saw Team 6 coming and we decided to hide.
When they went on to climb to tower, we quickly ran to The MRT station.
Team 6 caught up with us and insisted that we cheated when we didnt.
The train came and our group was deciding on whether we should go to the CCK station or not, as we did not want to lose out to the other teams.
In the end, we did not cheat. SEE, this proves that our team is honest.
CCk is the last station and we did the final task of taking the LRT.
It was a task that burned most of our time away, but we chatted and took a video on the LRT too.
We then rushed back to YCK station and took 72 to our school, where we tried to retrieve Wing Sang's Moisturising cream. To our disappointment, it was already squashed badly and Pooven said that it was empty.
We went to 7 eleven and i treated the team to drinks.
We went back to school languidly, and we're not the last group! oO
And This was the End of CyberTrail.

I slacked and do nothing till night, where we watched Resident Evil 2 and did the Senior's NightWalk.
The Senior's Nightwalk was kinda... Messed up in the Ex-Seniors' opinion.
They said that it was not well planned and it was super boring.
Yu sheng and yu siang kept on-ing the lights whenever they see them, and in the end i got blamed! WAT THE HELL SIA.
In my view, The Senior's nightwalk was seriously boring.
The clues did not make sense and we did not know where to walk to.
The seniors' nightwalk ended, and we all went to sleep.
Nice Efforts from the juniors though... Nice Try.
Nxt time try putting in more efforts, it may work out.

2nd Day:
We woke up and went to the home econs room.
And the suprising factor for the day was seeing Mr nathan making Prata.
He looked pro seh... flipping the prata like an indian. Ok, he IS an indian.
the Curry made by Mrs Kumar was great too, it was one of the best curry i've ever tasted.
After breakfast, we played abit of captain's ball and soccer.
After that, i went to bathe.
After bathing, i went back to lab and did random stuff.
We could not do alot of activities as it was raining.
Then I heard from my Juniors' about Haziqah and Lovel's trying to keep the planning of camp queen and king secret. This was the only thing in my opinion that spoilt my camp lar. Sigh.. don't know what to say. But it was the most retarded thing ever.
And i guess poor Jane has to put up with it too?
BBQ then started at five plus. I lent the modified lighter to Mr Nathan and he started the fire.
The BBQ this year was great, as there were chicken chop, Salmon, Sotong, Satay, and so many food. The Sec 4s, were even being served on! Super cool lar! Thanks Juniors!
Its so fun, we were all sitting at the General Office area planning for the nightwalk when people served chicken chop and salmon on porcelein plates to us, as though we're at a restaurant. We ate to our limits.
The Juniors' look super bored though...
So I decided to cancel the WarGame and proceed with the NightWalk instead.
We screened "MeanGirls" in the lab and started the nightwalk.
Yi long and me are stationed at the creepiest station, the Art Room.
Haziqah and Levin are stationed at the Announcement stand area,
Nian Tee and Imran are stationed at the canteen and fitness corner area.
I decided to not scare anyone for the NightWalk as our stations are dark and scary enough, and i did not want any of the Sec Ones to cry.
It sure is cold up there at the Art Room. Even when i stood surrounded by pillars, there were still cold icy winds blowing from nowhere. Spooky huh?
The first two to come would be tiki and someone, but i forgot who.
Then Arvind and Kavin both soloed. From this i gained the knowledge that Indians are practically brave.
Lots of groups of two went by and then out of a sudden, a group of nine people turned up! It was hilmi and the rest. They decided to speed things up by doing the mass nightwalk. LOl. They were the last group.
We ended the nightwalk, and the sec fours went back to cybertrail, and we saw the girls sleeping. We realised they did not go for the NightWalk, and Haziqah insisted on waking them up to walk.
But then, we had already removed the signing lists. Yi Long and me did not dare to go back and staion at the Art Room again, as we felt that something aint right there.
So we kinda replanned the whole thing, and this time we decided to scare the girls.
Sad for you girls huh... who call you to sleep?
The first two to come were Lovel and Wing Sang.
They got scared at almost all the stations that we laughed till our stomachs ache.
The second and last two to come would be Jane and Shi Ru.
They were way braver than Lovel and WingSang. Either that or its just that they didn't scream at all. LOL.
After the nightwalk, We went back to the CyberLab, and Imran and Yi long wanted to watch MeanGirls, as they missed it out and they wanted to see the angmoh girls again.
So, we replayed the show and i slept through most of it. The second disc had some problem so we went back to our dorms to sleep. The girls got to sleep in CyberLab, So good sia.

3rd Day:
Woke up and ate noodles for breakfast.
Packed the dorm and lab and then I released them.

Conclusion: The Camp is fun for the first day, but on the second day onwards, it was kinda boring already, as most of the activities planned could not be carried out.
The activities planned by the Juniors' were all cancelled too. If there is a next time, seniors should just plan everyth.
I am also very sorry if i caused anyone to emo during the camp.
Sigh.. im going to Step down from Cybernetics Club soon...

I remembered clearly that someone said that DoTA sounds boring and so, its a crap game. Now i shall prove that wrong by explaining what it is.
DoTA is Defense of the Ancients in short. See, now it doesnt seem so boring.
It is a custom map for Frozen Throne, and is a hybrid of a strategy game and RPG.
The objective is to destroy the opponents' base using one's own Hero along with allied heroes and allied AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". Sharing concepts with role playing games, the player levels up their hero and uses gold to buy equipment in an effort to best the opposing team. DotA pits two teams of players against each other. Each team has a base in opposite corners of the map. The Sentinel players have their base at the bottom left corner of the map and the Scourge players have their base at the top right corner. The respective bases are defended by towers, present on the three primary lanes with respective individual levels, the first tower starting from the diagonal being the weakest to the towers flanking the "Ancients" being the strongest. In the heart of each base is the "Ancient", a building which must be destroyed in order to win the game. Thus, teams fight against the enemy team as well as computer controlled units and defensive structures. Each human player controls a single Hero, which is a powerful unit with unique abilities. In DotA Allstars, players choose one of eighty-nine heroes available between the two teams, each which have different spells, strengths, and tactical advantages over other heroes. DotA Allstars offers a variety of game modes, which are selected by the game host at the beginning of the match. The game modes dictate whether people can choose their own hero or be assigned one randomly, as well as the difficulty of the game. Many game modes can be combined (for example, an easy difficulty level and a random hero pick), allowing for even more flexible game options.

I received this info from Sr Janet Wang, ex-Principal of St Anthony's Canossian Convent, now Head of the Canossian Chaplaincy Team. The information below is a very important warning for our teachers, parentsand children about this film.

There will be a new children's movie out in December called "The Golden Compass". The movie has been described as "atheism for kids" and is based on the first book of a trilogy entitled "His Dark Materials" thatwas written by Phillip Pullman. Pullman is a militant atheist and secular humanist who despises C. S. Lewis and the "Chronicles of Narnia". His motivation for writing this trilogy was specifically to counteract Lewis' symbolisms of Christ that are portrayed in the Narnia series.

Clearly, Pullman's main objective is to bash Christianity and promote atheism. Pullman left little doubt about his intentions when he said in a 2003 interview that "my books are about killing God." He has even stated that he wants to "kill God in the minds of children". Don't let kids see "The Golden Compass".

While "The Golden Compass" movie itself may seem mild and innocent, the books are a much different story. In the trilogy, a young streetwise girl becomes enmeshed in an epic struggle to ultimately defeat theoppressive forces of a senile God. Another character, an ex-nun, describes Christianity as "a very powerful and convincing mistake."

In the final book, characters representing Adam and Eve eventually kill God, who at times is called YAHWEH. Each book in the trilogy gets progressively worse regarding Pullman's hatred of Jesus Christ.

"The Golden Compass" is set to premier on December 7, during the Christmas season (and staring Nicole Kidman), and will probably be heavily advertised. Promoters hope that unsuspecting parents will taketheir children to see the movie, that they will enjoy the movie, and that the children will want the books for Christmas.

Please consider a boycott of the movie and the books. Also, pass this information along to everyone you know (including church leaders). This will help to educate parents, so that they will know the agenda of themovie. I am sending this to those of you who have kids or friends with kids, grandkids or have influence with kids.

Yay today pon lessons to go for CCA competition.
It was kinda fun during the competition, although some conflicts occured between us and a kid from ACS. Stupid arrogant kid. You better watch out.
And The great news: After months of hardcore training( actually only 1 day of programming) we managed to get into the top 4 positions!
Now for the speech preparation:

Yesterday, Cybernetics Club took part in the annual Micromouse competition and we managed to clinche the 4th position. Lets give them a round of applause as Mrs Poh present the trophies to the members of the winning team.
